Jon and Kelcey, thanks very much for your replies.
It's good to know it's not an essential piece. I may order one at some point if I can ever get one from Michael Yahl. Otherwise I'll just make sure those bellcranks are nice and secure like Kelcey said.
Thanks again.

Emmons Missing RKL Stop
Hello I'm setting up a (new to me) 66 Emmons Push Pull and I think I've got everything were it needs to be, except it seems like RKL is missing its stop. Is there something I'm not seeing regarding how a stop on this lever would work? It doesn't seem to be missing any pieces. Would it have came like...

Lacquer / Wood Neck Emmons
Hi, I'm looking for a Emmons push pull with a lacquer body and wood necks. An S10 is preferred but I'm open to SD10 or D10.
Thanks for your time.

If it is set up with too much slack before Nylon tuner hits finger, and there is some threads showing on the rod between nylon and finger...you will get a rubbing/clicking from those threads going into the finger hole. I also take the little Raise Spring off the 4th string simply for that reason th...

String coming back sharp after being lowered and clicking
Hi, I'm having problems with 4th string on my Show Pro. The 4th string comes back sharp after being lowered. It returns to the correct pitch once it is raised with the C pedal or F lever. It also makes a slight clicking sound and you can feel it in the lever. Along with that there is a slight clicki...

WTB Cheap/broken 10 string, single coil pedal steel pickup
Looking for a cheap or even broken 10 string, single coil pedal steel pickup with a narrow mount for a project.
I just don't want to potentially destroy a brand new pickup.
Let me know what you have laying around. Thanks

Flocking could work. So could black electrical tape. That would be a unique look. (seriously, I have thought about this black tape idea more than I should) Ok, I know this is going off the rails but I just imagined covering it with the copper tape that's commonly used to shield the inside of guitar...

Benjamin, thanks for the heads up on the bell crank, I was dreading trying to take that cross shaft off. Jim and Richard, I was planning leaving the second string as is (not lowering it any further than 1/2 step). I'm assuming that as long as the spring is the right size it should lower just like st...

What parts do I need to add a lower to a push pull?
Howdy. I'd like to add a 9th string lower to my Emmons Push Pull. This is a Black Rock Emmons, very similar to the student model. It already has the RKR lever, I think I just need the bell crank and rod, but there are several available on www.psgparts.com and I'm not sure which is the right one for ...

National Dynamic Lap Steel $400
National Dynamic Lap Steel for sale. I believe this one if from the mid 60s. It has the sockets for legs but did not come with legs when I acquired it. I changed the pots, other than that everything seems to be original. Comes with a lightly padded gig bag and the original pickup cover not pictured....

A good 6 string lap tuning other than c6
Hi, I've been playing C6 lap steel for 7 or so years (in addition to E9 pedal). I just picked up a National Dynamic and am looking for suggestions on a second lap steel tuning to get into. I've consider doing an open D or G but I'm curious to what some other traditional tunings that would be good to...

Installing knee levers on a R&B Sho Bud
Howdy,
I'm planning to install a LKL and LKR on my Sho Bud 6139 rack and barrel. I got the parts from PSGparts.com. Does anyone who has done this before have any tips for placement? I'd like to avoid drilling any unnecessary holes.
Thanks
JD

Push Pull Lower won't return.
Howdy. I've got an Emmons student model steel that I love. When I lower my Es down a half step with LKR, the 9th string doesn't return all the way. Only once I raise them with LKL does the string go back up to its original pitch. I've tried oiling the changer, and it looks like the lower springs und...
