He had a booklet that listed scales, speed picking ex., and a couple tunes for E9 and C6, and worked straight from that. There were fewer people ...

Robert, I haven't seen The New Riders Of The Purple Sage recommended yet so I'll suggest their Greatest Hits album/CD. Pretty sure it's still available and of all their albums that I'm familiar with, is the showyest (new word) in terms of pedal steel. Buddy Cage is the player on at least most of tho...

Another idea if the logistics of a large full scale cruise prove too tough would be to charter a smaller boat, maybe up in the Puget Sound. Two trips during the late summer when the Buffet Winds blow! I'm afraid to post any other ideas. I think the medication is kicking in. Later. ------------------...

Pete - Will you be playing through April or just until April? I'd like to get out and see you guys. That's my old stompin ground and I haven't been over there in a long time. Eric - Which nites do you play the Trippy Canoe? Not a bad location. My best memories are all along that road. My work schedu...

I feel pretty lucky. My first lap steel was my first guitar. It was a 6-string Bakelite Ric. My dad owned a few nightclubs here in Portland, and since the clubs were close to home, the musicians would usually store their equipment at the house rather than the club. I was an only-child (6-10 years ol...

Liberty (brand) Resonators-Question
Greetings, Wondering if anyone has experience (I know you guys have OPINIONS!)...or opinions, they're valuable too, on the Liberty Resos. I know looks don't count for tone, but these look way too sharp for the $. Seem to run from 300 to 600 bucks. Copper or brass tops, spider br., good woods...etc. ...

Marshall Tucker Band - Tab
Does anyone have tab or remember any pointers for these great ol' tunes?
In particular, the intro/solo to "Fire on the Mountain" and fills to "Searchin' for a Rainbow"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
