Great advices, guys. I've purchased a n heavier bar that helped a little. I just lay it on the strings with no pressure at all. Good intonation and little buzzing, no buzzing at all through the amp.
Thanks

the right bar pressure

hi all, i'm a pedal steel newbie. i'm struggling to find the right bar pressure on the strings: if i press strong strings goes sharp, if i'm more gently strings make some annoying buzzes.....this happens more around 12th fret and more on the bottom strings. i can't find a balance. heavier strings ga...

I finally bought a ValveKing 112.
First impressions are: good cleans, decent reverb, not lightweight but portable. Dirt channel goes from light overdrive to high gain, not great but usable.
Brad, you're right, it isn't a loud amp.
in the next days i'll try it in some jams.
thanks everyone

hi, Henry, thanks for the reply, the psg is a WBS basic S10.....i wasn't aware of cabinet drop. So it's a pretty common situation? no need to worry about that?

Yes Lane, i know, but with shpping and customs taxes it will cost more than 500€, plus i have to drill holes etc. and so i sold the MSA and bought a new psg. WBS seems to be a good instrument for beginners, plus it comes with 5 years warranty and a good customer service if needed....
