So sad, Eddie was a great friend to me and my family. My Mother in Law called him now and then to order his spices, in fact she talked to Eddie fairly recently. Very sad...he will be sorely missed, a true "one of a kind".

Bobby Burns has it right, no need for us lefty's to have a left handed Steel Guitar, we have to utilize both hands, both feet, both knees both sides of our brain, etc. IMHO, it's not a "handedness" thing. :)

I own the Blue Marlen pictured on the brochure. I played it on my "Blue Plate Special" CD in the early 2000's. I bought it from Leonard in either 1975 or early 1976. Luv it!!!!

Composer, Guitarist, former "Cricket", and Singer, Sonny Curtis wrote and performed the fabulous MTM theme song. IMHO after Andy Griffith's "Fishin' Hole" theme, this one is the best. https://youtu.be/zkuEfGZffRY

I was working at the Lone Star Cafe in NYC in the early 80's for a special show for a soap opera actor, country singer wanna be. They added a piano to the show and set it up next to me at the end of the stage. The guy came up to play and he honestly weighed about 400+ pounds and sat on a typical ba...
