earplugs and my Twin Reverb will put those volume happy guitarists in their place..... It's clean and LOUDER! In reality, I just try and get the boys to understand that we're getting louder and usually they listen!.... you definitely don't want tinnitus!

Update: I bought my Katana in September at SG of Nashville and have been using it exclusively since. I love this amp - I've dialed in a sweet tone that rivals my Twin....all good for me!

I'm probably not qualified to comment as I've owned only Emmons P/P's since 2000 and Fender 400s before that, but the tone of my D10 is just fabulous to my ears and it matters not what amp I play it through. Beautiful, crystalline tone. And it does fight back a bit!

I did for a couple years with a top 40 country band and I found the experience not satisfactory. I used Shure ear buds, not sure of the model #, but they were $100 at Gtr Ctr. I found when playing alone as in sound check, I could get a sweet tone in my ears, but when the whole band started in things...

$40/month? I think it's a bargain at that price. It'll be totally up to me to make it work, and that's where some of the hesitation comes from because I know my shoddy practice habits, but I'm going to try.... I NEED to try!

I had two of these EB pedals and one weekend in 2014 I had BOTH strings break on consecutive gigs!
