Thank you all for the advice. What Peavey amp settings are working best for most of you? I considered adding a chorus pedal to see if sustain and tone would improve. Any thoughts on that topic?

I use Peavey Session 400 Limited and Goodrich L120 pedal. Strings are new. I would appreciate some advice on pickups. I am not satisfied with the tone and suspect it may be the hambucking pups may be the cause of it. Sounds too subdued and lacks the bright bell-like tone I am looking for. Am I on th...

Are you interested in a Carter 8x5?

I broke a pull rod and need to buy one that will replace it. Will any currmanufacturers' pull rods work on a Carter double neck? What about the pull rod pin as well? It seems to be missing.

I have a fairly new Carter D10 with factory pickups (I believe). I see numerous brands of pickups on guitars selling on this site, and wondered if anyone could describe the various tone/color of the more popular ones? I would consider changing mine but wouldn’t have an idea of what I might prefer....

Should the volume go to zero when in the up position if working properly?

I have a “new to me” Goodrich low profile pedal that has little change in actual volume going from open to closed. It is never near zero volume, and seems to start at maybe 50% and goes up from there. Sound like a pot going bad? Or something else?

Thanks so much for all that wonderful history of George ‘s steel players. I had no idea so many of the all time greats were involved.
It would seem the ability to make a steel ring like bells is no secret to any of you. I hope I can achieve that as well. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
