Sol's tuning on "I Like You"

Howdy from the UK

Re: I Like You

Listening to this at present...seems to come out in key of F.

....but what is Sol's tuning.....open G perhaps?
Or is it one of his fancier tunings...which I haven't tried so far!!

Lower E's on the Right!!!??

I've noticed that David Hartley (among others, I'm sure) lowers his E's on the RKL, and wondered whether it might be worth a try?
What are the pros and cons?
....all opinions welcome :D

Tickling The Strings..King Benny !!.some thoughts on Key!!

OK....trying to get to the bottom of something that's been bugging me for years here!! It seems to be acknowledged that King Benny used High A Bass tuning, and performed this number in the Key of F. So he is thought to have played in the Key of "the (major triad at the) 8th fret position"!...

I'm a beginner, but have been working from the Erv Niehaus tab...and would love your backing track...please!!

Suppose I need to get into this whole 'backing track' thing
......would I be needing something like Band In A Box??

C6 Tuning....G or D at string 1....Pro's and Cons!!

Just wondering what opinions are out there on this one!?

Having played lap style for some years...and to a not particularly high standard...thought I'd have a dabble on the C6 neck.

What do you think...high G...or lower D on string 1..???
(Relative to D on string 2 that is!!)

Repairing a Sho Bud Volume pedal...
