Infinity D10 8 & 9 SOLD

It is with great hesitation I offer my 2016 Infinity for sale. This is a very rare instrument and fully loaded to satisfy any level of player. The guitar was built by premier craftsman Frank Carter. The setup is basically an "enhanced" Emmons with the E's on the left knee with some other a...

Donna and I are really looking forward to this show this week. It is always fun, well-organized, friendly, and features some of the finest steel players around. I am especially excited to get to play with my bud Tim Atwood, and also a set with Jeannie Seely on Saturday. Do yourself a favor and come ...

You know never who might show up

When I first took a job playing weekly at the Atlanta airport, I thought I would get bored with it quickly. But it has been nothing but interesting and kinda cool. The crowds move by fairly quickly, but some folks stop and talk about steel guitar. As a matter fact, in the last several weeks I’ve h...

I certainly agree with all of the above statements about Warren's personality, kindness, sense of humor, etc. He was the kind of friend that you might not see for years, but when you did see him, he would make it feel like you saw him just last week. He made everyone feel "special" that wa...

Well, I too am a happy camper using the X10. I've had it on my Infinity D10 for almost 5 months. Before that, I had the 409 on my guitar and was very satisfied with it too. But the X10 gives me more control over individual string intensity and tone. With that I can counter my right hand deficiencies...

Dennis,
I have 2 of the Nashville 1000's and have worked 'em hard for close to 20 years. They sound great, are fairly lightweight, plenty of power, and they're super dependable. It looks like your amp would be a great deal for someone.

When I first moved to Atlanta in the late 70's I went around to all the studios looking for session work. (I had several years of studio experience by that time.) And, everyone told me, IF they ever needed a steel guitar part, they would call Charlie (or Porky as some people called him). It wasn't t...

I too am really looking forward to this show. It has become one of my favorites. The folks with the Southern Illinois Productions have really learned what it takes to organize, and run, a great venue for steel guitar. The crowd loves it, the players love it, and the SIP donates a substantial amount ...

Zumsteel 8&8 AVAILABLE in Dallas (Sold)

To be offered for sale at the TSGA in Dallas is this very rare Zumsteel D10 with 8&8. The guitar was born in 2000 and has been babied its' whole life. The setup is mostly Emmons but has pedal 0 as the Franklin changes, and the E's to Eb on the RKR. Guitar is overall in great condition as is the ...

Jack, that green D10 on the far right of this ad is the last new Emmons I had before switching to Zum guitars. I sold that guitar to Steve "Alonzo" Walker somewhere around 1976 and he is still playing it today. I think that guitar has held up pretty well considering 40+ years of traveling ...

I've had a few calls about the sturdiness of these cases because of their light weight. There are several "road" steel players that use this type of case. Some even trust this case for "fly dates" on the major carriers. And, I've not heard of any damage to the cases or their guit...

Ultra light, single-neck, split cases -SOLD -

At some point in time I had a single-neck Jackson Blackjack guitar. And then, somebody decided he wanted it really bad. So, sadly, I sold it but the buyer wanted the original wooden case that came with the guitar. I had forgotten I still had these great little, light-weight cases. Today these are kn...
