My Pots
The only difference in the original Dunlop audio-tapered pots I originally sold and the ones I now sell is the style of the soldering lugs. The older model was a bit more confusing with the "stud-projecting" soldering post model. The current pots have the more standard soldering lug config...

MSA & other Parts
You can now get almost any guitar part from Barry Coker in Alabama. His email: firetrkdoc@bellsouth.net If he is unfamiliar with the part you want, and you can send him an example of it (by sharing another one of the parts from your guitar like you want), he can likely duplicate it. And yes, I'm sti...

Some Authority Quotes
I took the time and found a few explanations that might add some clarity to the various posts here. These quotations were taken from Wikipedia (not the ultimate authority on anything, but close to it). Each quote is an opening paragraph of topics mentioned by the Forum posters. To paraphrase what I ...

T.T. & Tuners
Darrell. Standard pianos are tuned to a Tempered tuning. I don't know how electronic keyboards are tuned. Maybe others here on the Forum will have the answer. A Google search surely has the answer, but dadburn it, I'm too busy to look up the answer.

Don't throw the pedal away. Get it welded. Are you sure it isn't just "crummy" aluminum? I've seen aluminum casting that are bad (foreign material in the mix), but this looks like the worst ever!

I should have provided a bit more information, so here goes: I hired George Moore to clone the analog version of the MatchBro. George was the main tech who designed the various models of the Webb amp. He knew sound and electronics better than anyone I knew. He did the schematic and even bread-boarde...

Resonator 9-volt vs. 18-volt power?
With the first production run of my resonators, the manufacturer for me (MXR) inadvertently inserted a 9-volt battery clip inside the unit. I shipped many, not knowing that the clip was inside and space was made for the 9-volt battery. When I discovered this, I immediately contacted MXR and asked th...
