Jimmie
Are there choices for the body wood? What would be the additional cost?
What is the pickup plate material?
Thanks

I have seen terrible packing from UPS stores! A heavy irregular item in an oversize box filled with peanuts with no stabilization of the item in the box. Amp in a box filled with peanuts with peanuts that worked into the speaker spyder. Large amp in a cobbled together mess of cardboard fragments wit...

Fender did produce 26 inch scale multi neck eight string steel guitars. I don't know that I've ever seen a single neck 26 inch scale Fender console steel. Makes me wonder if your guitar was made by disassembling a multi neck guitar.

I think this is a 1960s guitar, and I've heard the finish referred to as "poly". It doesn't look like nitrocellulose.

Stringmaster body swap?

I am thinking about swapping all the original parts from my poorly refinished 24.5 in scale Stringmaster D8 to a 22.5 in scale body (I prefer this scale length). The 24.5 in guitar looks to be late 50's and the 22.5 in body from the 60's. Will this require modification of the target body, or pose ot...

Fender Deluxe 8 flight case?

I am looking for a check-able flight case for my Fender Deluxe 8 (S8 Stringmaster style) and legs. The gun cases I have found are excessively big. Hatton does not make flight cases. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Mikiya, thank you for posting this, I did not know it was happening this year. Will you and Jeremy be focusing on six or eight sting guitars, or?

Bar finger joint deformity from playing?

I have developed some pain, swelling and and reduced mobility of the knuckle (metacarpophalangeal joint) of my bar (pointer) finger. Also, some joint deformity such that the finger points toward the middle finger slightly when flexed... and this angulation seems to help with bar control. I have done...

DW-16 is the model number for the one you seek. Mine is not for sale. This guitar sounds excellent and a lot like a DW-16. It has has a 25 in scale length vs. short on a DW-16, and separate volume and tone controls. It has the tuner covers, four legs and the original case. I think the 25 in length i...

I think there are significant differences in the SW8 and DW16 guitars depending on date of mfg and other specs. My DW16, an earlier one, has fine volume all the way across.
