Shot Jackson & Webb Pierce

Webb recorded a tune called "If crying would make you care" in 1951(?) and I think Shot Jackson played the steel on this one. Anyone tabbed that tune(or at least the intro) out? Which tuning did he use? I'm probably too stuck in my E9th PSG stuff http://steelguitarforum.com/frown.gif I mea...

I opened up for him last Friday at the Continental Club, he had 2 guys with Teles with him, one of them did awesome fake steel stuff. I have to admit I was disappointed when I noticed he had no steel but then..there was nothing missing. His show was very powerful !!

Herb Steiner/ Jim Murphy

Just came back from touring Texas with my (non-steel included ) band. Just a week ago I stumbled into the Continental Club in Austion to witness Herb Steiner and Jim Murphy playing. I was a little too drunk to introduce myself http://steelguitarforum.com/wink.gif but I got at least some CDs to take ...

I can only second that. My Professional had several PUs but I always prefered the original ones.

I have 2 Non-Top Boost models, one is a Treble model, killer amps, would prefer them over the Top Boosted AC30s.
Basil, you don't have that AC30/4 anymore don't you Image

MPG (MPEG) files on VCD, DVD??? help needed

I have tones of MEPGs on my HD and I like to play them on my DVD player. Is there a tool to convert these files to a media)and if which media is it)that my DVD player would handle?
Is there a free downloadable tool?

Thanks
Andy

George,
to my knowledge this unit was the Standel "Reverbalux" , the amp must have been the all-tube Standel 80L15.

I have an old 62 non-top boost combo here for repair, but its extremely loud, I guess it would be even at 15 Watts.
Btw, anyone has an AC30/6 "treble" schematic?? Wonder whats different to the bass and normal versions ( this is not the TopBoost version!!)

Vox Ac30

Is it possible to remove 2 output tubes to reduce the volume as on Fender TWins? Or would it harm the amp?? What about the impendance then?
