Hi Bill, Thank you for all the clarification. I confirmed the size and thread by taking one mount off and bringing it and one leg to the hardware store. This way, I could confirm the facts about what I was really dealing with. That was unfortunately as far as the hardware store could help, but still...

Anyone have experience with the Royall triconstein? Their products look like Republic resonators re-branded. Thanks!

Will pm you.Michael Stephens wrote:Hi there - I installed one a while back on a Melobar lap steel. Sounds pretty cool and works very well. I must admit I'm not playing it much these days (much more focused on pedal steel). Let me know if interested and maybe we could work out a deal.

Duesenberg Multibender on a Chandler?
Maybe a long shot. Has anyone put a Duesenberg Multibender on Chandler? Duesenberg are just so pricey.

E Tuning and cournty licks
I found this guy on youtube who I found to be very impressive with the faux pedal steel country sounds with an E based tuning.

Re: 'Nola' for A6 and C6
Lots of palm blocking on this one? This is just a little experiment in treating A6 and C6 as transposing instruments relative to one another. Yes, it uses a high G on the C6th to bring it into line with A6 but there are only a couple of spots where the top string is used. The tune is an old novelty ...

Vintage E7th Sheet Music
So I picked up an old Christmas book - John W Schaum Christmas Album Transcribed for Hawaiian and Electric Guitar (E 7th Tuning) Now this is regular sheet music and not modern day tablature (which is fine) but what I can't quite figure out is the keys to these songs don't seem particularly convenien...

Recordings
Hi Andy,
Have you considered recording these? I'm sure you're at least as self conscious as myself when it comes to playing but the midi files are really difficult to listen to.
I'm sure you would do the songs better justice than you think if you plated them yourself!
