Hey Ron, Sorry have to put the THR10 to sleep before I can answer any questions.... I got it at the Island General store better know as Amazon.com. As you know it is hard to find anything locally and if you do find quality musical stuff you have to leave your first born son as a down payment or take...

Just got mine last night and didn't get a lot sleep as I was extremely pleased with this little bugger. For electric guitar I was fronting the THR10 with a blackbox, Keely compressor and a Blackstone overdrive. As b0b stated not a complete tube tone but a unique clean, compressed and slightly overdri...

Just received my THR10 yesterday afternoon and am a convert. Can play it clean or dirty, electric or acoustic. Great modeling amp and I haven't even tried the software yet. Good for Steel, Pedal steel, Fiddle, mandolyn, guitar- acoustic or electric and it isn't bad for harmonica either. This is the ...

Ray You might want to think in terms of using the number system when working with your minors in any key. NO matter what your root chord is you will find that the 6 minor is usually the minor most songs will include - ie-Key of G the 6th is an E minor. Key of C the 6th is an A minor. The 3 minor can...

Lane, if I remember my theory correctly using 9 is correct. You use the 1, 3, 5, 7 when making up Major chords the first time through the scale. The second becomes a nine as you are adding it,usually, to the dominate 7th chord to get that sweet beautiful 9th tone. The 4th becomes a 11th chord change...

Thanks Lane, Great stuff for us freshman PSGers Got to learn to walk, or crawl, before you run. E9 players can learn the E scale on the 7th fret using A, B and F and begin to learn Lane's Lesson. Yep, you can do it all on, or almost all of the melody on the 7th fret. Us 12 stringers can get two octi...

I'm old enough to remember watching him with the Original New Riders of the Purple Sage. He'd do a great set with them and then return to the stage with Bob and friends and do an acoustic set. Then the Dead would come on and blow you away for four more hours. During that era they sure loved to play ...

Aloha Lana, I received a new Fessy U-12 on 3/6/12 but not with the same pup. Mine is a 12 string HB Wallace. A couple of suggestions: Switch guitar/amp and volume pedal chords. Run the guitar direct to the amp to make sure it isn't a volume pedal problem or chord. Make sure the solder connections on...

John, It's like you kinda sorta almost know from skating by all those years on guitar. After listening to Mark explain it the light bulb finally lights up and your brain begins to really absorb all of that information. The harmonic scale actually makes sense now and the finding the easy 7th's leadin...

The B Pedal and the D Knee Lever Combo
I'm still new and learning all kinds of fantastic pedal knee combo tones. Counter point tones have really caught my attention. When you release the B pedal and then the D knee lever the combo of one string/4 or 8, going up a half tone and the other/3,6 or 10, on my 12 string, going down in tone is b...

I've built and shipped many acoustic and electric guitars using USPS without any problems. Always insure and I like the photo idea. Great advi...
