Yeah, the head stock is 7". I was thinking of some type of keyless system on the back, but couldn't come up with a quick and cheap roller nut. That's part of the reason I used only 10 strings, going to 12 would have added about another 1 1/2".

Is there some place with a good explanation of how a pull release works? I have no idea. I have a push pull and an all pull, have never seen the under side of a pull release.

Any U12 players find the 2nd D#->C# useful when it's on the E->D# lever? I have seen some U-12 are setup that way.

The newer Sierra's have square cross rods, also, the pull rods are straight, threaded on each end for adjustment nut on changer end and threaded plastic pivot in bell crank slot.

On a U12 a 3 semitone raise on the 9th from B to D is common.
