The fretboard looks amazing in the pics. Maybe a primer on how you created it and what the print out looked like before you put it on.
Is it glued on?
Did you laquer over it?
Did you print it at a store like Kinkos?
Am I asking too many questions?

Wow - Great answers
I really love the helpfulness of all the folks on this site. By the way I am from Dallas, TX. I would love to find a lap steel teacher locally.

How do you play along with guitar
I am just learning lap steel guitar after playing guitar for many years. I was at a buddies house and couldn't just "strum along" as he played. Is there a way to learn to play along with somebody when you know he is playing chords and singing.

I searched the forum and can't seem to find anything about Lap Steel, but saw a post about Crafters Resonators. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1029/11343_Crafters_1.jpg http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/use...

Help me design my first Lap Steel - Scale Length etc.

Hi, I am a 60 year old guy from the DFW area, Garland for those that know the area. I am a woodworker who cut about an inch off of two fingers on my left hand over 10 years ago. I can still touch type and do most everything except for play guitar. I haven't sucessfully been able to form a chord sinc...
