My Stage One is 1 3/4"

I'm in agreement with everybody else on here. I have a Stage One also and love it. Easy to play , great tone, and very light weight and it does stay in tune very well.

I've had my Stage One now for just a few months and I love it. It's easy to play , great tone , and very light weight.

I too use a roc & soc drum throne with a back and lockable. I have not been sorry that I have gotten it. It's very comfortable and I don't feel any back fatigue after sitting and playing for awhile.

If I had to choose it would be playability.

My brand new Stage One weighs 24lbs out of case and about 38lbs with case.

I have a white pearloid JL and I love it. It's got a great warm sound.

I've been playing with a group of guys this summer and last and we play a variety of bluegrass and classic country music and I play the steel with them. We've had a good reception from the audiences.
It's been a lot of fun!
