Jim Burden bullett bars Please close

Three bars; one PSG and two lap steel. Sizes are 1 x 3 1/4, 7/8 x 3, and 3/4 x 2 3/4. $30 each or $80 for all three. Edit: the three big ones are gone. I've added the 3/4 inch as incentive in my ad for my Magnatone lap steel if it doesn't sell here first. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1403/1...

Magnatone G 65 lap steel. Last price drop! $300!

Great 6 string lap. Bigsby designed (purportedly; lots of controversy on this forum), solid walnut (no MOTS), electronics are clean, guitar sounds and plays great. Nice long 24.25 inch scale length. Non-original makeshift hard shell case. Set up with C#min7 tuning- will include new set of John Pears...

2006 Rains Spirit D10 8+7

I'm selling this guitar after trying to get back into playing steel at the same time as I was beginning a family. Not the best choice I've ever made. This is a super nice guitar, and has been sitting in its case for long enough now. Time for someone to play it. As I mentioned, I have young children....

Is this a single or double x-braced model? It changed right around this year.

Todd Clinesmith could likely make something of this. If I had the money, I'd be inclined to let him have a go at it.

I have Tim's other Rains (the one without the Tone Aligners), and the Trutones sound damn near perfect.

billy-ditto.
i listened twice on macbook speakers and figured it out the first time. listened again to be sure i heard what i thought i heard. what i heard was an absence of effort in the upper register and a less tight but rounder bottom end. pretty easy, i thought. not to brag, but, c'mon.

Hey, all I'm going to revive this to ask where are all you folks playing high D sets finding them? The only ones I've seen are the SIT Emmons sets on this forum's store. It seems like half the people responding to this pole play a D on top. Are you all playing SITs, or are you swapping out 1st strin...

Steve-
I don't have that amp (though I'd like to), so I can't help other than to suggest that you ask this question on the pedal steel forum. More volume pedal literate folk over there.

Larry, I apologize for any appearance of disrespect. I also apologize for the ambiguity of my example. I now realize that when I said that I have a nickel silver National, in a thread about National finger picks, it was pretty stupid of me not to make it clear that I'm referring to my tricone (which...

Maybe its just my imagination, but I can still remember the clear ringing sound of a silver coin when dropped on the table (or sidewalk). Any metal other than silver has a dull thud...like any our coins made after 1964. While this may well be true, nickel silver has no silver in it. It's a copper a...
