Hi, I just bought one of these in ostrich burgundy w/ the Fox chip mod from another Forum member. It is a lot darker than the pictures--really elegant. A great sounding amp. In my opinion, this is a bargain price! I paid more for mine.

You're right! It is kind of a "57 Chevy" color.

I'm now in the final phase. I still have to make the front and back panels and then cover them with Tolex. All the hardware is on, except the rubber feet. Here's a photo:

I have now painted the inside of the cab, and today I applied the teal Tolex. I think that the teal will look good with the old aluminum knobs of the 400. Yes, I will post some photos of it. The pedals are a bit more toward the middle. It also has volume and tone controls and a coil tap switch.
