I read somewhere I believe in the Steel Guitar Forum that if you play a lap steel guitar then you need to get No-Pedal Steel Strings for which every tuning you like. So I bought Scott's Non-Pedal Strings and I'm currently in the process of evaluating them. Anybody else got any thoughts on this? Thanks

Is there really a different between Pedal Steel Strings and Non-Pedal Strings. I hope I can get some really good answers. Especially C6th Tuning.

Just unplugged the horn and you really can tell the difference. Thanks for info.

I bought one for $50 bucks and it came with wheels. Currently playing a Gretsch 6 string lap steel through it. It's got a really clean sound. Thanks for responsing.

Anyone using a Peavey KB300 amp which comes with a 15" black widow spider speaker and horn and has 300 watts of power? it was orginially designed for orgam and keepboards.
