Greg,

Thanks for posting the review and sound clips. Have been looking at Quilter amps for some time but never had the chance to actually hear one.

Have you ever tried the Aviator Cub? If so how does it compare to the TT12 / TT15?

Thanks,
Robert

I have one that still works.... All I have ever done is clean the switches a couple of times with contact cleaner and re-soldered the battery clip. Take care using contact cleaner as some of it loves to eat the plastic parts.

Bill,

I have owned one for a couple years and really like it.

There is a control on the front of mine which moves the set point of the taper around a bit. It took me a bit of messing with to get it to respond very similar to 'pot' pedals.

Bill, I have used the model with the 90 degree jacks for just over a year. I think it's a great pedal, built like a precision tank. What I really like is no tonal change throughout the entire volume range as there is with typical pot type pedals. You don't need a line drive preamp as it is part of t...

I have been looking at these as well.... Someone here posted about the X5 a few weeks back and his impression was positive. Actually that is what prompted my look into this series of effects....

I agree with Greg above.... They are many left handed PSG players including myself that play a 'std' steel. Don't forget that resale will likely be much easier with a right handed guitar. BTW: playing steel requires both hands and legs all of which need to be trained.

I also own the model with the side jacks for about a year. It's a great pedal, built like a tank, no loss of highs, and zero noise. Had been a 'pot' pedal person but there is no going back.

I have had issues with all brands of AA and AAA non-rechargeable batteries for several years. For the most part I always remove the batteries except when using the equipment if at all possible. Many dollars wasted on damaged equipment.... Very frustrating!!!!!

Purchased a Lehle 90 a couple months back and it is great.... I was planning to buy a Telonics but the price at 2x the Lehle just was a bit over the top. I have been a pot-pedal person for decades, but with no quality pots available for replacement there are not many options.

Larry,

I checked my ISGC tapes from 1976 and I don't have the Barbara Fairchild portion. I do have several hours of various pickers but the quality is not real great. Wish I had the portion that you are searching for.

Larry,

I was at the 1976 show and might have a tape. I know that I taped part of the show with my portable cassette recorder. Not sure how good the recording will be but will see what I can find.
