Webb Steel Guitar Amp for sale $1100 obo
I bought this off Tom Bradshaw some time ago. I gigged with it a few times (like 5) but it has been my at home amp. >200 watts, headroom forever. Tom put an extra reverb coil in it. Blue tolex is pretty clean and it has a lioght vinyl cover. I also have the wiring schematic in case of repairs or mod...

I have a 1950 Fender Deluxe that I am having refinished. Anyone know where I can get a suitable decal and badge (between the two necks)? Thanks -John

Looking for a D8 Fender Stringmaster
I am looking for a 22.5 inch scale D8 Fender Stringmaster. I am not a collector/dealer, so I am not expecting something in pristine viewing condition, but I do need it to be in top notch playing condition. Thanks for reading.

Is there a structural reason there are only two knees or is it full able to add 2-3 more? And what do those knees do? Nice looking steel.

Definitely late 40s. I have a Dual 8 Pro dated 1950 (Tadeo Gomez in pencil with an April '50 pencil in the tuning pan rout) and it has trapazoid pickups. Did you look under the tuning pans? There is likely an exact date in pencil under one of them.

Potting pickups
I recently replaced my Telecaster pickups because they had gone 'microphonic' because of what I understand to be loose coils. I also understand that 'potting' them, i.e., dipping them in wax, solves the problem (I couldn't be bothered, and I wanted to try Jason Loller pups anyway. I have noticed tha...

S-10 MSA Semiclassic altered Lefty by Tom Bradshaw
I am selling my MSA semiclassic that Tom Bradshaw refurbished and altered to be lefty. It's a single 10, E-9, Emmons split with 3 pedals and 5 knees. It plays as it did (great) when Tom delivered it to me in 1999. The case is road weary comsmetically, but fully functional. Tom had the pickup rewound...

West Coast WC-8H 8-string Lap Steel
I am not in the market for another steel, but my 6-string resonator is a West Coast (Bob Littleton's first, I think, and he set it up lefty for me). I've had the pleasure of playing with Bob when he lived in the Bay Area - he is a great steel player, a great guy, and a great craftsman. I would buy t...

Sierra Lap Steel
I'm looking for some feedback on the Sierra lap steel. I recently acquired a 1950 Fender Dual 8( from the forum, perfect transaction), which is a pure joy to play. I am a mediocre player, but play about 30-40 gigs/year, and would like a lap guitar to throw in for ease of transport etc. I've heard a ...

Anyone know what this is?
I've had this for years after an friend gave it to me. The inlay dots are a greenish pearl. The pickup actually one magnet curved to form the exposed "blades" It got dropped (ok, I dropped it . . .), which why it has a repair on the tone control. The tuners say "Safe T Strings." ...

I definitely have no interest in a cosmetic pickup. I didn't know Loller was still making these. Thanks everyone for sharing your insight.

Are there any "new" horseshoe pickups? Need Ricky
I saw one site where Rick Aiello was building horseshoe pick-ups, but not any more. And if I can't get that pick-up, then what's a close guitar for that sound - a little too hot and like it's adnoids are stuffy? I've read the Sierra is close, but is that just sales?
