I did use one for a while.. It’s rad if you don’t need to get loud… I have a tweed 59 Bassman cab that’s cut to 1x12 I picked up a few years ago and I’m always looking for something small to use with it.. I recently made it into a practice bass amp for my girlfriend using a TC Electronic 200w mini b...

Grateful Dead?- Brown Eyed Women with PSG
I heard a version of Brown Eyed Women in a diner today. It had some badass psg. Been listening to all the damn live versions on Spotify and can’t find the one with the steel. I don’t even know if it’s actually GD. Any of y’all happen to know where I can find it. I’ve been googling my ass o...

Also... Since I’ve had the PF350s, I’ve been using the Bass channel, on my Bassman. I decided a couple nights ago, to try out the Normal channel again. It sounded wayyy better. I had one of the best shows of my life, in front of about 20 people. Like I said before, my amp broke down the followin...

Zach, let’s meet up and a/b your 2. 12 cab with mine. I’ve got old JBLs. It would be cool to try them side by side. We could mak3 a viral video ! Hell yeah, Bob! Gonna be out of town for the next couple weeks. But, I’ll hit you up when I settle back in. My Bassman 100 crapped out, last night,...

I just got two of these SOB’s for a 2x12 Bassman style closed back cab. I run a Bassman 100 through it. Been playing through a BW for the longest time. The PFs sound rad. But, when I push em, they break up. Don’t know if that’s a normal part of the breaking in. Hell, I never had a new speaker,...

The E raise (c pedal) bell crank was loose, and had slid over and was butting up against a bracket. Now that I think of it, that change had gone out a while back. But, I somehow got it in tune, until now. Or maybe I was still out, but close enough, for my ears. I always blame the bad intonation, on ...

E9 5th string problem
Hey, y'all! My 5th string changes are out of whack. A and C pedal changes are flat, and when I tune em, the open string goes sharp. Haven't had any issues with this Super Pro, til now. I adjusted the stop screws to give me more pull. Seemed to help, but the problem is still there. Also, the c pedal ...

Man, I've played with dirty power. In fact, I don't know if I've ever played with clean power. Its never been this intense. It was blaring loud, and everything was fine, before the power went out. No one else had any problems, in my band, or with any of the other bands. I mean, I hope you're right. ...

Stage Hum/noise/buzz problem
Hey y'all! I had, probably, the worst show of my career, yesterday. It was an outdoor , festival gig. Giant stage, tons of power. I get my PSG and guitar rigs set up, and checked, and they sound great. Slight hum. But, I don't sweat that, at gigs like this. Everything sounds awesome. We're all noodl...

Here's the deal. I used to have an Emmons, that came with these low quality legs. The footing is just a piece of all thread, that doesn't give you much height to adjust to. I started using the Marlen's legs, on the Emmons. Then, the Emmons was stolen. These are the crappy legs... http://bb.steelguit...

Replacement Legs
Hey, y'all! Thinking about buying some replacement legs, for my '66 Marlen. I'm stuck with some crappy, barely adjustable legs. I need some of them big heavy SOB's. figured I would go ahead and post, rather than try and sift through the forum. how 'bout it?!

Hey, y'all! I had a little situation, the other night. Apparently, I lost the pin, that holds my RKR on the bracket, on my Super Pro. Luckily, I'm still pretty green, and don't use the 2nd string lower, too much. But, I wanted to fix it. I hit up some buds, and got some info. But, I decided to conta...

Thanks, brotha! Man, we recorded all that stuff, and then I went and had a little lesson with Bob Hoffnar. Learned some good easy stuff, that changed my playing! I went back and threw around the idea of re-recording all my stuff. But, it didn't stick. Damn! But, thanks, for the kind words! I am happ...

Stolen Emmons SD-10, and other stolen gear in Texas
Hey, ya'll. My band's whole rig was stolen, in Dallas, this weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have the serial number, for the Emmons. It's an SD-10 3x4 Push/Pull, converted from a D-10. It has a Texas flag sticker, on the front, opposite the Emmons plate. One specific thing, about this guitar, is that...
