This is so sad, Hank was for sure one of the good guys. We hung around together for many years, he was also my roomie when he worked with Faron. RIP. Prayers for Barbie and family.

The band members are Reggie Allie on guitar,Harley Alsup on bass, Johnny Virgin on drums, and Ron Elliot on steel.My god we had such a great time back then.

Hi guys, it was Jimmy Colvard who played on the original record, It's his lick. The only song recorded with Dave was "There ain't no easy run". Thats all I played on the record tapped my toe until the lick was needed. Pretty easy bucks

Very sad. Worked with Norm quite a bit on NN and on a couple of sessions. I used Norm on a session I produced he nailed the song in one take.Great player and good man. RIP

I played for George Kent, Dave Dudley, Jean Sheperd, Red Sovine and Faron Young. Backed up many others on package show over the years.

Looks like Sonny Burnette on steel, Pete Wade on lead, Van Howard on rhythm and Lighting Chance on bass.

Sad news. I had alot of fun times with him and Lacey and the rest of the band. RIP

Dick Curless from Maine and Dave Dudley from Wisconsin come to mind.

Great video, thanks Bill. Had a DV in the late 60,s. liked it and it played good. Sold it to Benny Birchfield, 2 months later it completely fell apart.

She is in a better place. RIP
