Brownface Fender
Hello all, I'm in the process of looking for a Brownface Fender Deluxe or Princeton. I'm also looking to sell a 1949 Gibson LG-2. I would also entertain a swap..the guitar for a nice example of the Deluxe, or the Princeton and a few bucks for my LG-2. If anyone out there is interested, give me a sho...

Crazy Arms Backing Track
Hello all,
I'm looking for a source to purchase a backing track for Crazy Arms in the style of Ray Price. The karaoke versions I've found so far are a bit lame. I wondered if anyone had put together a nice one and a link to buy it.
Thanks!
Jeff

Carter Parts
I was wondering who might have Carter Steel guitar parts. My steel student has a SD-10 and a part broke. I believe it's called the pull pin. Anyone know where I could get one?

Phase Inverter Tube
I have a '69 Twin Reverb and recently installed a NOS Mullard 12AT7 for the phase inverter. Lately I've noticed that sometimes as I play, I loose volume and bottom end all at once. If I turn the amp off then back on again often it will work fine again. I suspect the tube I recently bought but haven'...

John...there are lots of these tubes available on ebay and on other websites..just be prepared to pay as they are spendy! I got mine from the guy who works on my amps. He's a old tube aficionado and suggested it. I had been a bit skeptical about the difference that was possible, but at least in this...

NOS Mullard in Black Box
I replaced the tube in my Steel Guitar Black Box last night with a 1960 NOS Mullard 12ax7. I'm not sure how much to attribute to the placebo effect or maybe the nos tube kool-aid, but it sounds simply unbelievable now. All I can say is wow...

Groove Tube KT66
I have 3 Groove Tube KT66's for sale. These were from a matched quad that I put in my Twin a few years back. The glass came loose on one of the tubes so I replaced all four. Would make a great matched pair with a spare. They sound great! $90 for all three shipped in US. Jeff Pickering http://bb.stee...

Fender Twin Reverb to Head only
I thought I'd get some opinions on the forum for my situation. I recently posted a question about JBL speaker replacements for my old Twin. This is still a viable option, but doesn't reduce the weight a whole lot. I'm considering taking the amp out of the Twin and making a head only Twin. The next t...

JBL D 120F Replacement
I have a '69 Fender Twin with the JBL D 120 F speakers that I've had for nearly 40 years. Recently I've tried other amps like the Cube 80xl due to the weight of the Twin. I just keep going back to the Twin because it sounds SO good. I am tired of lugging it out of the basement for gigs and I wondere...

My bad on misspelling the name in my original post. I know they are Marlens, just mistyped. I guess I don't pick a keyboard very well!

Old Marlin Steel help
Hello... I'm not a regular poster, but a friend of a friend just purchased an old Marlin double neck steel from a music store here in Wichita. He came to me to help him get started in playing it. When he got here, the guitar was unplayable and not set up in any way standard. I was unable to even tel...
