Hi, does anyone here know the individual string gauges of the 'Hawaiian Guitar - Heavy Gauge' set marketed by Gibson prior to WWII?

Gentlemen, I have a 1930s bakelite Rickenbacker steel guitar. It's in great shape except for the fact that the ball end of one of the strings is stuck in the string channel (it loads from the rear like a Tele). Any suggestions for getting it out? Kevin, I've not found the nearside wing restricting. If that is a concern however, you could move the point at which the wing curves down a little closer to the body. I think that the asymetrical look is part of the Danos appeal - a bit like 'modern' furniture of the 50s - which goes with the light ...

The treble side chrome plate is missing on my Bakelite Rickenbacker. Does anyone have one of these for sale? Alternatively, do you have any suggestion as to who could make me a replica?
