Hi Bobby, My amp is a Nashville 112. It has a pre EQ patch and a post EQ patch. Is this the same as what you refer to as an effects loop?.......Bob

Equalizer pedal

My current set up is guitar to volume pedal to digital delay to digital reverb pedals, to amp. I want to try an equalizer pedal. Where in the line should I place it? Thanks for your help....Bob

Anyone use a super overdrive pedal?

I currently use a reverb and delay pedal. Does anyone use a super overdrive pedal with their steel guitar and how often do you use it and what type of songs. Also where do you place it after your volume pedal? Thanks for your help...Bob

Watching Curly on the second You Tube clip, one thing I noticed was how his guitar was slanted. In other words how low his guitar was close to his body. How many of you lower the legs in front of you that much? just curious.....Bob

Enjoyed Steve Hinson

I met Steve Hinson at the Randy Travis concert, in our town this week. Great show/band, and Steve was great. After the show I had an opportunity to meet him and talk to him a few minutes. Guy's like Steve deserve a lot of credit. They are the ones who make the steel guitar sound so good for so many ...

Tks Ronnie, sure would like to meet Steve. Would even invite him home for lobster & steak, but he would have to play me a number on my LDG Shobud. Maybe Randy would like to join us. Bob

Bob, I tried your suggestion, to loosen the endplate nylon tuner for string 5 but it did not change the open tuning. Iv'e been checking under the guitar by moving my B pedal to see if anything is catching but I cannot see anything rubbing or catching. I did notice that the spring on the 3rd string m...

Sounds Awful

I have a shobud LDG, and I have the Emmonds setup. Whenever I depress the B pedal which raises my 3rd and 6th strings, it also raises my 5th string ever so slightly and the guitar sounds out of tune. Has anyone ever had this problem and what is the solution. Iv'e cleaned and oiled the changer the fi...

Thanks Bent & Joe, for your replies. Joe, that is exactly the reason I was thinking of cleaning. My 5th string was not returning to pitch sometimes. Not always. I did change the string in case it was deffective, but the problem continued....Bob

Cleaning the changer

I have a Shobud, s10, LDG and have never cleaned the changer. Are there instructions on the forum, which would explain how to take the the changer apart and clean the fingers and all neccessary parts. Or should this be left to an expert.

Who is he/she

Does anyone know Who is the steel player on Billy Currington's current song "People are crazy". Not a lot of steel but when you hear it, it's very nice, fit's in very good. I'm trying to figure some of the chords and find it difficult.
