Howie, The only trades I could entertain would be to a better steel. The 3 + 2 I just bought has an all hand made under carriage. The only Pedal steel parts appear to be the changer & the tuning keys. Looks nice but the legs are aluminum and look cheap. I'll give up both guitars plus cash for so...

Had one just like it I bought from Moze Guitar shop in San Diego. He put a Bill Lawrence pick up in it & I gigged with it for 8 years! It rocked!! Wish I still had it, but I have to many now. Best of luck.

I've been a steeler for 18 years but haven't played for the last 8. Just joined up with a band & fell right back into the groove.

I had this problem with a MSA Maverick and simply installed hose clamps below the clutch (on the smaller part of the leg & it holds perfectly and is still adjustable. Can't be seen either.
