C6 gauge question

Hey!

What gauge do yall use on your high C6 string? I'm using a .015 tuned to D, thinking about switching tuning to G. .011 or .012?

Thanks!

Adding C6 neck to my Shobud Professional

Who could I get in touch with about adding a C6 neck to my Shobud Professional?

It was built as a double neck, but has the pad like the LDG.

Also, price range?

Would it be cheaper to sell it and buy something that's already a D-10?

Thanks!!

Tony; if you can remind me of the names of guys Steels that you refinished; I can find their files and post up pics. But that is the extend of my memory right now..ha. Ricky Ricky, will do! Bryan--there are several good repair guys in New England: Tommy Cass in MA, John Widgren in CT, for starters. Not sure about refinishing, though.
Right on, Dan...super cool! It's cool to see old jobs that I've done! Looking to get back into it!

It's been a while since I've posted on here as I've been building for Collings Guitars for the past 6 years. I did a lot of work with the late great James Morehead and his lovely wife Tree. I'm currently looking for projects as simple as setups to as difficult as a full strip/refinish/burst/rebuild,...

Re-welding a knee lever on a shobud in Austin, TX?

My LKR or F# to G knee lever managed to come un-welded from the 'shaft' or 'barrel' that makes the change. Anyone know of someone in Austin that could re-weld it for me? I'm not any good with aluminum welding...the picture below will hopefully answer any questions. Thank you! http://bb.steelguitarfo...
